We answer your questions before the inspection

Everything you need to know about the inspection, the report and the booking process.

How long does the inspection take?

It depends on the size and characteristics of the property. A typical inspection of a medium-sized flat takes between 1 and 2 hours. Detached houses or large properties may take a bit longer.

Do I need to be present?

It's not required. You can attend if you wish, but the technician carries out the inspection independently and you'll get all the information in the report.

Should the owner or estate agency know?

Yes, authorised access to the property is required. Usually the visit is coordinated with the owner or the agency.

Is the inspection superficial or in-depth?

It's a thorough technical inspection, with no need for building work. We detect visible defects, risks and signs that may indicate hidden issues.
